This light weight scale flairs out in the front with rubber grip-pads making it easy to form a firm grip. The new 25% larger LCD display with a blue backlight makes for easy reading. The Palmscale operates at the touch of a button and opens automatically with our patented Hydro-Hinge. It is only auto-opening scale in the world (besides the Touchscale).

The new Palmscale 6.0 comes with rechargeable batteries. This saves you hundreds of dollars during the lifetime of the scale plus it saves the environment. Did you know that disposable batteries cause significant damage to the environment - especially precious drinking water? Every time it rains, water percolates through the volumes of garbage at the landfill. In the process, this water leaches heavy metals and other hazardous materials from such common discards such as batteries. The resulting liquid, or "leachate", eventually collects at the base of a landfill, often in considerable quantities. If and when it leaks from the landfill and reaches the water table, it can seriously contaminate ground water. With over half of all people dependent on ground water for their drinking water needs, contaminated ground water constitutes a significant problem. Equipped with the Tools You Need
The Palmscale's Stainless steel tray is perfect for precious jewels and gunpowder. You can double its size with a large removable plastic expansion tray or TRIPLE it's size with the large expansion bowl (pictured below) for those loose metals or Chinese herbs. Scoop up metal filings or gunpowder with the Palmscale's built in Scoop or pick up gems with its built in tweezers. Store your Palmscale in it's included protective fabric pouch.
